Absolutely — anxious patients are genuinely our specialty. Tell us when you book and we'll go slow, explain everything before we do it, and offer comfort options like numbing gel, headphones, weighted blankets, laughing gas, or oral sedation. There's no judgment here, ever.
Do you take my insurance, and will you bill it directly?
Most likely yes. We direct-bill to most major BC providers — Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, GreatWest/GSC and more — plus the federal Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Bring your plan details to your first visit and we'll submit electronically so you only pay any remaining balance, which is often $0.
How early should my child's first visit be?
We recommend a first visit by age one or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are short, gentle, and mostly about helping your little one feel comfortable — and your child's first checkup with us is free. Dr. Anand makes it genuinely fun.
I have a dental emergency. What do I do right now?
Call us at 604-555-0148 right away — we keep same-day emergency slots open every day we're open for toothaches, chipped or knocked-out teeth, lost fillings, and swelling. If a tooth is knocked out, keep it moist (in milk or saliva) and come in fast. After hours, our line gives you urgent guidance.
What's included in the $99 new-patient offer?
Your $99 covers a complete dental exam, low-dose digital x-rays, an oral-cancer screening, and a personalized smile plan — no insurance required. If you'd like a cleaning the same day, we'll quote it transparently based on what you need, and direct-bill your insurance if you have it.
