Letter from Scott Ingram

Denise Matthews wrote to Scott while on his trip to see what specific needs they had in GIDCCO. This was his reply:

Hi Denise, Thank you for the encouraging words. I am impressed with Pastor Fred and his ministry and wish that we could do so much to help him. I went with him yesterday to see GIDCCO in action. We filled out some needs assesments and then came together in the community. I got to share a few words with the crowd and Fred had bought some blankets to take to the orphans. He only had 9 to give away so the community chose 18 kids who had nothing and then it was like a depressing lottery as they drew names to give the blankets away. I cannot tell what is the greatest need because there are so many needs that all need met from blankets and clothes to food and drinking water. How can you live without any of that. Anyways, We are no longer in Jinja. We are going up north for a while and then will come back and meet with Fred before we leave for the states. I told him I would video him talking about GIDCCO so we can put together a video for his MySpace. Anyways. Keep praying for us as we travel and keep praying that God will continue to use GIDCCO to do the things we cannot.

Amen.
